Rams Re-sign Running Back And Kickoff Returner
The Los Angeles Rams re-signed running back Ronnie Rivers to a one-year contract on Wednesday, according to several reports. The 27-year-old veteran would be going into his fifth season with the Rams since signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2022.

Rivers had 46 rushing yards last season and 19 total snaps on offense. He played most of his snaps on special teams in 2024, 248 in total, by far the most active he’s been on any unit during his four-season career. However, Rivers had just 91 special teams snaps in 2025, but did have a career-high 16 kickoff returns for 418 yards.
He re-joins a group led by Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, as well as depth including Jarquez Hunter and Jordan Waters.
By re-signing Rivers, L.A. could see him as a leader in the clubhouse to return to his kickoff returner role next season.
