Rams Vs. Commanders Odds: Opening Lines For Week 9 Matchup

FanDuel has the Los Angeles Rams favored by 5.5 points over the Washinton Commanders in Week 9 of the NFL season. Keep an eye on the line to move as the Rams could be getting some players back from injury this week.

The Rams also saw Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson leave the game in Week 8, and if they do not return, that equally could impact the spread and likely not in L.A.’s favor.

Both the Commanders and Rams are coming off solid Week 8 victories with the Rams beating the Los Angeles Chargers, keeping them winless. While Washinton beat their division opponnent the Philadelphia Eagles, keeping Philly’s season on ice.

You never know what the future holds, and you can checkout FanDuel to place a bet on the Rams winning the NFC West, but they are still behind the Seattle Seahawks and well behind the San Francisco 49ers. The odds say that the Rams will not win the NFC West, and they’ll need to play excellent football the rest of the way to have a real shot at making the playoffs. You could bet on the Rams missing the dance entirely if you haven’t already.

For the Commanders, the NFC East is still seen as open despite how strong the New York Giants have looked to start the year. The Dallas Cowboys have been a dissapointment. The Eagles are beyond injured. The Giants are still young, and that means that the Commanders still have a chance to take their division. Though Washington has a lot of work to do, a win over the Rams would greatly boost their odds at winning their division. A loss would obviously push them farther back.

The Commanders likely need their division to make the playoffs, while the Rams may have to sneak in as a Wild Card team at best.
