The person that is Jared Verse will be missed by the Los Angeles Rams will be missed, we know this, but so will the player and the production. Now, will Myles Garrett make up for that production? That’s the plan, but as it stands, the 2026 Rams will have to move on without Verse and rally around a new looking defense.

On paper, this defense is awesome, but also on paper, they haven’t played a game yet. It’s interesting because a unit that has all the talent should play well, but history has shown us that sometimes units do not mesh.

Whereas that isn’t likely to happen to this Rams team that’s just my guess, and who knows the emotional impact that not having Verse will have. It’s all quite interesting.

It’s Tuesday. It’s June. Thank you for checking out Turf Show Times and have a great day! We’re on our way to Friday.

Rams Will Miss Jared Verse Most in This One Key Area (si.com)

“When Myles Garrett gets his first career sack as a member of the Los Angeles Rams, not many will be thinking about what Jared Verse is doing for the Cleveland Browns. Garrett is undoubtedly an upgrade over Verse and accelerates the timeline and development at that position. However, that doesn’t mean that the Rams won’t miss Verse to an extent.

To be clear, the Rams will take Garrett and everything that he comes with. He is one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL. There’s a reason why the Rams were comfortable trading a young player like Verse for Garrett.“

Cowboys Legend Expects NFL to “Step In” and Stop Aaron Donald From Coming Out of Retirement for Rams (sports.yahoo)

“And now, reacting to this possibility, Cowboys legend Michael Irvin jokingly suggested that the league should step in and intervene should Donald decide to come back.

“People talking about Aaron Donald thinking about coming back, and we know that’s not real. We just know that’s not real because I would expect the NFL to step in and stop that. You cannot allow Aaron Donald. I don’t care if he’s been off for a few years. I don’t care what you think. You can’t allow Aaron Donald,” Irvin said on his YouTube page.

Matthew Stafford’s glowing praise for Ty Simpson should put Rams fans at ease (ramblinfan)

“Already under immense pressure, he’ll need all the help he can get. And so far, Stafford has been that lifeline.

It’s important for both quarterbacks to cultivate that forced friendship quickly. Los Angeles has invested considerable resources in both players with the hope of winning today and tomorrow. Right now, the today chapter for Stafford is relatively certain, wth the biggest question being how long he will ultimately stick around.
