Random Ramsdom: This Former All-pro Is Still Available
Matt Milano was at one time one of the faces of the Buffalo Bills defense, but he reportedly is still waiting to find his next team. It’s possible that he knows he’ll back with the Bills when the time is right, but it’s also possible that the Bills and Milano want to reexamine the landscape of free agency and the NFL after the upcoming NFL Draft.
Would Milano make sense for the Rams? It’s possible the answer is no because Milano’s best days are behind him, then again, he could have some juice left in the tank, and he could be a veteran leader to help put the Rams over the top, but this really just seems like speculation not anything solid.
Baseball is about to get rolling, basketball is happening, there is hockey, but there’s still plenty of things to talk about when it comes to the NFL! Please comment on whatever you want and thank you for checking out Turf Show Times!
Rams Urged to Add ‘Versatile’ Former Bills All-Pro in Free Agency (heavy.com)
“The Los Angeles Rams struck gold with Nate Landman in free agency last season, and could get another impactful addition this offseason with Matt Milano.
Milano was a Pro Bowler and First Team All-Pro in 2022.
He remains available in free agency after reworking his contract to remain with the Buffalo Bills last offseason. He could be part of what the Rams hope is a push to another Super Bowl win this coming season.“
Rams 2026 NFL Mock Draft Roundup: Projections after free agency frenzy continue to go heavy on offense (therams.com)
“After the Rams added former Chiefs cornerbacks Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson to kickstart the offseason, many experts have shifted their draft projections to the offensive side of the ball. Los Angeles owns the 13th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft after acquiring it from the Falcons in a trade during last year’s draft. Their original selection, No. 29 overall, was traded to the Chiefs as part of the McDuffie deal.
With the initial free agency frenzy now over, team needs are starting to solidify and analysts believe the Rams’ are on offense. Here’s how experts think the Rams will use their first-round pick.“
Rams re-sign DE Larrell Murchison to one-year deal (therams.com)
“Murchison, 28, had become an unrestricted free agent after his previous contract – a one-year deal – expired at the start of the 2026 league year on March 11. Last season, he played in a career-high 16 regular season games and tied his single-season career high with two sacks, making eight total tackles as a part of L.A.’s defensive line rotation.
Originally a fifth-round draft pick (174th overall) out of North Carolina State in 2020 by the Tennessee Titans, Murchison has 30 total tackles, four sacks and five QB hits through 34 career games with Los Angeles (2022, 2023 and 2025 seasons; missed entire 2024 season due to injury).“
Random Ramsdom Fandom:
“A Nacua contract could be something like four for $170M which is $42.5M.
Rams have been doing smaller signing bonuses with larger base salaries and roster bonuses.
So they could do something like a $16M signing bonus, $10M roster bonus each year from 2027 through 2030, and then base salaries of $22M, $28M, $32M, and $32M.
Cap hits would be:
2026: $8,967,000
2027: $35.2M
2028: $41.2M
2029: $45.2M
2030: $45.2M
Cash to Nacua would be:
2026: $21.8M
2027: $32M
2028: $38M
2029: $42M
2030: $42M
Total cost of Nacua from 2026 to 2030 would be $175.8M or $35.2M per year.“ -holtfan
