Reacts Survey Results: The Nfl Preseason Is Upon Us
This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans what they’re looking forward to watching during the 2026 NFL preseason.
60% of fans are especially excited to see Anthony Campanile’s defense.
“I just want to see a clean operation,” head coach Liam Coen said after Thursday’s joint practice with the New Orleans Saints.
“That, and then just go play. Like, let’s see who is going to be the guy that’s going to go make plays when it’s not perfect … And then who’s going to win some one-on-one matchups? Whether it’s one-on-one pass pro, whether it’s I’m covering the guy one-on-one, or whether I got to defeat a one-on-one matchup at receiver. Who’s going to go do that?”
Coen will be handing the playsheet to offensive coordinator Grant Udisnki, in an effort to give him some playcalling experience while providing himself some time to oversee the rest of the team. “It’ll be a really good time for me to be on the defensive headset a little bit,” said Coen.
“Typically when the defense is on, I’m doing adjustments with the offensive staff, and then I’ll click over and be able to get a little bit here and there. So, being able to hear the full process and be able to hear a little bit more of the new communication that will have to exist.”
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jaguars are 2.5-point underdogs against the Saints for Saturday’s 4 p.m. ET preseason matchup.
