The Pittsburgh Steelers released veteran linebacker Malik Harrison as part of their roster cutdowns following preseason play. Harrison had a cap hit of just under $7 million for the 2026 season, and Pittsburgh saved just under $5 million by releasing him. On Thursday, he found a new home.

Harrison has signed a deal with the New York Giants, per Jeremy Fowler. This reunites him with his former head coach in Baltimore, John Harbaugh. For those keeping count at home, Harrison becomes the eighth former Raven to sign with the Giants this offseason.

The Steelers signed Harrison to a two-year, $10 million last offseason. In his lone year with the team, he registered 41 tackles in 11 games.
