Seahawks Initial 2026 Practice Squad: Cody White, Noah Igbinoghene Not Included

The Seattle Seahawks have formed their initial 17-man practice squad for the 2026 NFL season, and it consists exclusively of players from their training camp and preseason rosters.

Vested veterans who didn’t have to clear waivers and went straight to the practice squad include Velus Jones Jr, Trevon Diggs, and Rodney Thomas II. The biggest surprises (for now, knowing these are fluid situations) are the omissions of safety D’Anthony Bell, cornerback Noah Igbinoghene, and wide receiver Cody White. As far as players who did clear waivers, neither Jamie Sheriff nor Jalan Gaines made it to the initial 17-man squad.

All four waived draft picks: Emmanuel Henderson Jr, Deven Eastern, Michael Dansby, and Andre Fuller were signed to the practice squad. Undrafted free agent rookies Uso Seumalo, Aidan Hubbard, and Marvin Jones Jr also round out the PS.

As always, the Seahawks have an extra slot available because of the International Player Pathway exception, which for a second year in a row belongs to center Federico Maranges.
