The Seattle Seahawks’ search for a new offensive coordinator continues, and the latest external candidate also comes from within the NFC West.

Having met with Arizona Cardinals pass game specialist Connor Senger, the Seahawks are slated to interview San Francisco 49ers tight ends coach and run game coordinator Brian Fleury.

Fleury has been with the 49ers since 2019 in various capacities, but he’s been the tight ends coach since the 2022 season. The former Towson quarterback has never been an offensive coordinator at any level but was a defensive coordinator and special teams coordinator in college. He’s also not a new kid on the block in terms of coordinator interest; the New England Patriots interviewed him two seasons ago before going with Alex Van Pelt.

The Seahawks are still ultimately expected to make an internal promotion to replace Klint Kubiak, who’s since become the Las Vegas Raiders head coach. Run game specialist Justin Outten, pass game coordinator Jake Peetz, tight ends coach Mack Brown, and quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko are the four who’ve already interviewed.
