The Tennessee Titans have a rebuilding roster. General manager Mike Borgonzi was aggressive this offseason in his pursuit to improve the team. The Titans made eight picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, and committed more than $310 million, a league-high amount, in NFL free agency.

That doesn’t necessarily mean Borgonzi’s rebuild is complete. The Titans have finished last in the AFC South in consecutive seasons. The consensus belief is that the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Jacksonville Jaguars have considerably better rosters than the Titans. This exercise is designed to pluck one player from each division rival and place them on the Titans.

Houston Texans: Will Anderson Jr., DE

The Titans are pretty thin at pass rusher and there’s no denying that Will Anderson Jr. is a dominant defender for the Texans. We nearly went with Derek Stingley Jr., but Robert Saleh prefers pass rushers over coverage defenders. Anderson would address the Titans’ lingering need for a franchise EDGE.

Indianapolis Colts: Quenton Nelson, IOL

With questions at the right guard position, Quenton Nelson is the surefire choice from the Colts. Nelson technically plays left guard in Indianapolis, but surely he or Peter Skoronski could move to the right side if they were teammates. Instead, the Titans will have Jackson Slater and Cordell Volson competing for the starting gig at training camp.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Travon Walker, DE

The Jaguars were mocked for selecting Travon Walker over Aidan Hutchinson at No. 1 overall. It was the wrong decision, but Walker has developed into a pretty impactful player himself. The former Georgia Bulldogs product registered consecutive 10-sack seasons in 2023-24 and has since signed a massive contract extension. Coach Saleh would appreciate his raw athletic tools on the defensive line.
