The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the NFL’s top teams to watch in next month’s draft when it comes to taking a quarterback.

While the rising expectation is that Aaron Rodgers will return to Pittsburgh, nothing is set in stone, nor do the Steelers have a proven long-term option at the position on the roster. The Steelers are set to host Miami quarterback Carson Beck on a pre-draft visit, and now they are reportedly hosting an SEC quarterback.

Per Bo Marchionte, the Steelers are hosting Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green to a pre-draft visit.

“Arkansas QB Taylen Green is set for Top 30 visits with the Steelers, Cowboys, Dolphins, and Ravens as he continues to draw interest across the league after tremendous NFL Combine,” Marchionte reports.

Green is a giant of a quarterback, standing 6-foot-6. In his four seasons as a starter with Boise State and Arkansas, he completed just over 60 percent of his passes with 59 touchdowns to 35 interceptions. He also added over 2,400 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns on the ground.

Considering his large frame and dual-threat abilities, Green is an interesting name to watch on Day Three of the draft.
