The Steelers announced a series of roster moves Monday morning, signing running back/fullback Alex Tecza and cornerback Jaylon Guilbeau.

The team released safety Israel Mukuamu in a corresponding move. The veteran defensive back signed late in the summer, recording a sack in the Steelers’ first preseason game.

Tecza was a tryout for the Steelers at rookie minicamp in the spring. The Mt. Lebanon product has local ties and was the other half of a backfield duo with Pittsburgh seventh-round pick Eli Heidenreich at Navy. Tecza logged 158 carries for 902 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground in 2025 for the Midshipmen, adding another 125 yards and one touchdown as a receiver.

Guilbeau was one of three cornerbacks who worked out for the Steelers on Sunday.
