The Pittsburgh Steelers and rookie quarterback Drew Allar have agreed to terms on a contract, the team announced. Details on the deal have not yet been disclosed. The third-round pick was the only remaining rookie without a deal.

The Steelers selected Allar out of Penn State with the 76th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft – the pick they received from the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for wide receiver George Pickens. Over his career at Penn State, Allar threw for 7,402 yards, 61 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.

Allar, Will Howard, and Mason Rudolph will compete throughout training camp and preseason for respective roster spots behind Aaron Rodgers. Pittsburgh reports for training camp on Tuesday, July 28 with their first practice taking place Wednesday July 29.
