Super Bowl 2026: Seahawks Vs. Patriots Pre-game Open Thread

Good morning, Seattle Seahawks fans!

Super Bowl Sunday is here and yet the game itself feels so far away. Can it be 3:30 pm already? Well, we’ve still got

I want to relay some disappointing news I got on Friday: I will not be at Levi’s Stadium today. Super Bowl game week credentials don’t automatically come with game day credentials, which I’m well aware of. Unfortunately, SB Nation did apply for several credentials (for myself and a few others) but we didn’t get a full allotment. I struck out. Ah well. Consider that well over 6,000 media credentials during the game week get approved, and you realize not all 6,000+ get to be in the stadium.

Nevertheless, I will be at some sort of viewing party to cover the game, location TBD. We’re not short on options and certainly not lacking Seahawks fans who have really come to the Bay Area in droves over the last day or so.

Anyway, consider this is your space for whatever Super Bowl pre-game chatter you want! Analysis, comments on the concerts, what food you’re eating, what party you’re hosting or attending, etc. The floor is yours and this is not something we can take for granted.

The first half game thread will go live at 2:30 pm PT, but that won’t stop me from asking you to finish this sentence for me…
