The boutique fitness operator, which offers private, semi-private and group training, will soon open its third location in New York City

New York City-based boutique fitness brand the LIV Method is expanding its Manhattan footprint with the opening of a third location.

Set to open in January 2027, the new space, located at 2 Gansevoort in the Meatpacking/West Village area, will be the brand’s largest to date, at 12,000 square feet. Members there will experience the LIV Method’s signature private, semi-private and group training sessions, with access to recovery amenities including cold plunges, a sauna and practitioner treatments.

The brand’s methodology focuses on personalized injury prevention and performance optimization through individual assessment of each client’s strengths and weaknesses, with strength, cardio and dynamic mobility movements.

The deal, brokered by real estate advisory firm Dennis Healthcare, situates the family-owned, family-operated and self-funded business in a designated NYC landmark, part of the Greenwich Village Historic District.

“2 Gansevoort is the next neighborhood we call home. We don’t just enter a neighborhood; we become part of its fabric,” founder Matt Sauerhoff and chief operating officer Danielle Krinsky told Athletech News in a joint statement. “That’s how we think about growth: bringing the LIV Method’s personal approach to a new community and creating an experience rooted in care and long-term well-being.”

The new location also brings the LIV Method into an entirely new area of NYC, with its first two locations located in Midtown East and the Upper East Side. In addition to its fitness offerings and recovery amenities, those two locations also offer IV therapy.

The operator says it envisions entering new markets beyond New York in time, although there are no firm plans yet.
