The Tennessee Titans are discussing different strategies for the 2026 NFL Draft. Many expect the Titans to target an EDGE rusher at No. 4 overall. They are guaranteed to have at least one option between David Bailey, Arvell Reese, and Rueben Bain Jr. on the board.

Those aren’t the only prospects garnering consideration, however. Running back Jeremiyah Love, safety Caleb Downs, linebacker Sonny Styles, and wide receiver Carnell Tate are also in play. The Titans have needs across their rebuilding roster, and could conceivably go in various directions.

If it’s not an EDGE at No. 4, the Titans may target a pass rusher at No. 35 overall. According to a recent report, they hosted a player expected to be drafted in that range on a pre-draft Top 30 visit. The Titans had Missouri EDGE Zion Young at the facility earlier this week, according to Arye Pulli.

Young began his college football career at Michigan State. The Atlanta, Georgia native barely made an impact across 2022-23, recording just 2.5 sacks. Young then transferred to Missouri, where he spent the 2024 campaign acclimating to new surroundings.

Young enjoyed his breakout season in 2025. The fourth-year senior registered 6.5 sacks. In addition to those QB takedowns, Young notched 16.5 tackles for loss. That number signals his ability to create backfield penetration despite the lukewarm sack totals.

The general consensus on Young is that he lacks top-tier athleticism, but is an outstanding run defender who sets good edges with a red-hot motor. Young relies on generating power and active hands as a pass rusher. He looks like a pro-ready defensive lineman on tape.

The Titans currently have Jermaine Johnson II, Femi Oladejo, Jacob Martin, and Jaylen Harrell as notable names on the roster at EDGE. John Franklin-Myers can occasionally play outside as well. There’s a need for a difference-making edge rusher. Young should firmly be on the Titans’ radar.
