Tom Brady Reaffirms Aescape Involvement, Sides Tease New Launch

The AI robotic massage company appears to be going strong after facing financial uncertainty earlier this year, as Brady continues his public backing of the brand

Aescape seems to be mounting a strong comeback after going insolvent while facing over $150 million in debt earlier this year.

Tom Brady is sticking with the AI-powered robotic massage company, which he joined as an investor and chief innovation officer in 2025. The retired NFL legend plans to headline this year’s opening session at the Eudemonia Summit in November in West Palm Beach, Florida, in partnership with Aescape.

Eudemonia attendees will get a first look at a new recovery experience Brady has been helping to develop at Aescape, inspired by his own rituals that ensured longevity in his professional football career, the sides teased.

“Recovery was never optional for me. It’s why I could keep playing at 45. I didn’t want to just put my name on something — I wanted to help build it,” Brady said. “I’m proud of what we’ve created together and excited for people to experience it this fall.”

Aescape’s financial woes were colored by mounting financial pressure linked to the company’s transition from a development-stage startup into commercial operations, including high operating costs, capital expenditures and debt obligations, according to its filings earlier this year.

But soon after the company entered insolvency proceedings, newly appointed CEO Frank Britt assured that Aescape Recovery — the new operating company that now owns Aescape’s technology, intellectual property, hardware and partner network agreements — was shifting the business forward under a different capital structure, leadership team and go-to-market model.

“The arc of the narrative of somehow the company’s sort of out of business and bankrupt, it’s just preposterous,” Britt told ATN in May. “We are a company that is growing, we’re adding talent, we have a fortress balance sheet, the rate of growth of the use of the product with consumers is growing.”

The company has continued to move forward, recently partnering with Equinox to create a line of pre and post-workout massages delivered by Aescape’s robotic machines.

“We’re hardly out of business,” Britt has said. “We’re quite the opposite.”
