  • Fisch’s statements certainly make it sound like changes are coming along the offensive line. Obviously Demond Williams need to step up his play, but improved offensive line play will go a long way in getting this offense to at least at average level.
  • The Huskies might not be doing great, but Michael Penix Jr. and the Falcons are lighting up the NFL. He’s now led top offenses in both college and the pros.

Interesting stat here from ESPN Research:

Michael Penix Jr.'s teams between college and the NFL have averaged 33.1 points per game in his 59 starts (45 college, 14 NFL).

  • Bijan Robinson at running back certainly helps, but Penix’s return gives them a real threat in the pass to go along with arguably the NFL’s best running back.

The Falcons' offense, since Michael Penix Jr. returned, has been the best in the NFL, and it's not particularly close.
