With nearly all of the NFL action for Week 4 in the books, the Minnesota Vikings remain one of just three undefeated teams in the National Football League, and the folks who set the betting lines apparently think they’re going to continue their winning ways when they take to the road again in Week 5.

Our friends at the FanDuel Sportsbook have opened the betting lines for Week 5 of the 2026 NFL season, and the Vikings currently sit as a 1.5-point favorite over the New Orleans Saints for their matchup in The Big Easy. The over/under for this one sits at 42.5 points.

The Saints currently have a record of 1-2, with their game against the Atlanta Falcons set for Monday Night Football this evening in New Orleans. All of their games this season have been close ones. They started this season with a 31-30 overtime loss in Detroit, as their two-point conversion attempt that would have won the game in overtime was unsuccessful. They followed that up with a 24-17 victory in Baltimore over the Ravens before falling at home to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3 by a score of 35-27. In their two losses, they turned the ball over seven times, including three interceptions from quarterback Tyler Shough and three lost fumbles in their loss to the Raiders.

The Vikings, on the other hand, continue winning despite an almost complete lack of offense. In two of their four victories this season, they have failed to score an offensive touchdown. In order to find a team that’s done that and gotten off to a 4-0 start, you have to go back to before the Great Depression, as the feat was accomplished by the 1922 and 1923 Chicago Cardinals. The Vikings have scored just one offensive touchdown in their last three games, but a combination of special teams and Brian Flores’ suffocating defense have kept the purple among the league’s undefeated through the first four weeks of the season.

This will be the last game for the Vikings before their early bye week, as they’ll be off in Week 6. They’ll be back in the early window of broadcast action this week, as this one is scheduled for noon Central Time on the FOX family of networks.
