The Washington Commanders announced a few roster moves before they play the San Francisco 49ers tonight.

Three players had their 21-day practice windows opened last week, but only one of them has been activated. DE Deatrich Wise Jr. was activated last week, and now CB Trey Amos (ankle) and RB Jeremy McNichols (quad) have been activated from injured reserve. They also activated LB Jordan Magee (hamstring) from injured reserve.

The Commanders also placed two players on injured reserve. RB Bill Croskey-Merritt reinjured his groin and will miss at least four games. OLB Javontae Jean-Baptiste has been dealing with a pectoral injury, and has now been shut down for at least a month. Washington also released LB Austin Keys to open up another roster spot.

The Commanders are only elevating one player for Monday’s primetime road game against the Niners. OLB T.J. Maguranyanga is being elevated for the first time this season after getting re-signed to the practice squad.

The Commanders released their injury report Saturday and ruled out four players: QB Marcus Mariota (knee), RB Bill Croskey-Merritt (groin), DE Charles Omenihu (groin/ankle), and OLB Javontae Jean-Baptiste (pectoral). Bill and JJB were placed on IR today.

We have made the following roster moves:
– Activated CB Trey Amos, LB Jordan Magee and RB Jeremy McNichols from the Reserve/Injured List and removed them from the injury report
– Placed RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt and OLB Javontae Jean-Baptiste on the Reserve/Injured List
