The Marlins have owned the Nats all season, and now they are coming into town for four games. This is a series Blake Butera has to be targeting after the Nats just got swept in Miami. We know the deal with the Marlins now. They are a gritty, fundamentally sound bunch. Can the Nats stop them?

CJ Abrams is back in the field, but at shortstop. Blake Butera would not commit to a timetable when I asked him when he would play second base. Nasim Nunez is getting a day off, which means Jorbit Vivas is at second and Brady House is at third. Abimelec Ortiz and Harry Ford are also back in the lineup. Jackson Kent is on the mound.

Since the last series between these teams, Marlins slugger Kyle Stowers has returned from the IL. He will be playing first base. The pesky middle infield duo of Otto Lopez and Xavier Edwards will be players to watch. Utility man Javier Sanoja has also been hot lately. Marlins young ace Eury Perez is on the mound.
