Welcome to Week 1 of the 2026 season, where the dreams of fans that their team may be the one to hoist the Lombardi in Super Bowl LXI remain alive and well … for now.

Among the key injuries to watch heading into Sunday afternoon: Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle), Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty (ankle), WR Emeka Egbuka (toe), WR Rome Odunze (calf) and WR Ja'Marr Chase (knee) all look poised to play in their respective openers.

Meanwhile, fantasy managers got an unfortunate update on Raiders star tight end Brock Bowers, who will miss "a game or two" to start the season after undergoing a knee procedure last week. Saints RB Alvin Kamara is also expected to be out as he continues to recover from a knee injury suffered last month.
