Why Chargers Bye Week Could Be Exactly What They Need
The Los Angeles Chargers are 0-6 going into Week 8 against the crosstown rival Los Angeles Rams.
The Chargers are the last winless team in the league, which is definitely a red flag as the calendar turns to November. However, the bye week could give the Chargers a true chance to reset, which would give them an opportunity to re-evaluate things in hopes of coming out on top this week.
In last week’s Reacts poll, the confidence meter to determine whether the team is heading in the right direction, was at five percent. This week, that number has grown slightly to eight percent.

The bye week did not necessarily do much to put the Chargers higher in the confidence meter, but perhaps the rest gives fans reason to believe things are turning around, even if it’s a slow burn.
The Chargers are hoping to snap their losing streak as they take on the Rams at SoFi Stadium this weekend. Kickoff is scheduled for Sunday at 1:05 pm PT. Fans can watch the game on Fox or stream it on the Fox One app.
