Will Aaron Donald Make His Decision On Rams Today?
It’s been rumored that Aaron Donald could maybe possibly perhaps announce that he is returning to the Los Angeles Rams today. By the team you are reading this maybe he already has, or maybe he hasn’t.
Whether Donald returns or not, this should be a good Rams team. They should be able to compete week in and week out. They are expected to make the playoffs and more. If Donald does return, that’s potentially great for the Rams. If not, should still be in a great post (health is always a factor for any NFL team all the time).
So, Will Donald make his decision today? We’ll find out, and we have a poll below! Feel free to give us your best guess!
The Rams keep saying it’s up to Donald, so I guess it’s up to Donald.
Also, another poll about watching tomorrow’s preseaosn game. Feel free to fill that out! Or do not. Either way, preseason is coming.
Puka Nacua explains injury he sustained at Michael Rubin’s party (ramswire)
“Recounting the incident on the “Impaulsive” podcast, Nacua admitted that he ran into a glass window pane at a party hosted by Fanatics founder Michael Rubin. According to Nacua, he got distracted while looking for teammate Davante Adams and didn’t see the freshly cleaned glass pane in front of him.
“Uh, the glass window pane won,” Nacua said.“

Rams’ Puka Nacua gets gruesome injury at Fanatics party before 2026 NFL season (sports.yahoo)
“High hopes have been placed on the Los Angeles Rams for the 2026 NFL season. Coach Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford clearly want to go on a Super Bowl run before the sun sets on their starting quarterback. However, there might be an early thorn in their way. What might it be? Well, the news came about at a Fanatics party hosted by Michael Rubin, and it was all about Puka Nacua.
Rams’ Nacua gets gruesome injury at Fanatics party.
Puka Nacua apparently got injured at the Fanatics ‘White Party’ hosted by Michael Rubin. The Rams receiver went on the ‘Impaulsive’ podcast to discuss the matter. Seemingly, he ran into a glass door and got a gruesome cut on his face. Nacua was rushing to find Davante Adams and did not notice the glass pane in front of him.“
Sean McVay, Stetson Bennett & Ty Simpson address the media ahead of preseason opener in Kansas City (therams.com)
“Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay and quarterbacks Stetson Bennett & Ty Simpson discuss the upcoming preseason opener against the Chiefs in Kansas City and the Rams’ growth during the offseason.”
California court invalidates Rams’ arbitration clause as unconscionable (nbcsports)
“The dispute arose from a lawsuit filed by Brittany Todd against the Rams. She claims that her March 10, 2026 termination happened after she complained that her immediate supervisors were consuming alcohol during work hours “to the point of extreme intoxication,” that they coerced subordinate employees to consume alcohol, that they berated employees “to an abusive level” after becoming intoxicated, and that they berated employees for their religious views.
The Rams filed a motion to compel arbitration. The court rejected the motion.
The arbitration agreement used by the Rams gives the NFL Commissioner, or his designee, the exclusive power to resolve the case, including the threshold question of whether the dispute is “football-related.”
L.A. Rams decide Stetson Bennett IV NFL preseason opener status (dawgnation)
“Stetson Bennett IV will get the start for the Los Angeles Rams when they open the NFL preseason at Kansas City at 4:04 p.m. on Saturday.
The news on Arizona rookie quarterback Carson Beck was different earlier in the day, as it was announced that Beck will not play in the team’s Thursday night game against Las Vegas on account of a minor rib injury.
Beck, who backed up Bennett on Georgia’s 2020-2022 football teams, had drawn rave reviews after debuting in the NFL’s preseason opening game last Thursday in Canton, Ohio, with a 15-of-19 passing performance that netted 188 yards and a touchdown before he exited the action after the first series of the third quarter.“
Myles Garrett, Puka Nacua Injuries Becoming Worth Monitoring for Rams (si.com)
“Throughout training camp, the Rams have been overly cautious with injuries. Quarterback Matthew Stafford has practiced every other day as he manages his back and the team tries to keep him as fresh as possible. The Rams have managed veterans such as Alaric Jackson, Byron Young, and Davante Adams as well.
Garrett missed three practices during the middle of training camp before practicing the final two days. McVay said that Garrett felt he was 85 percent on Tuesday, but the team erred on the side of caution. The same was said about Nacua, who left during the joint practice and did not return. “
Sean McVay hands Rams rising star major opportunity against Chiefs (newyorkpost)
“Preseason games have become something of a laboratory for McVay, who regularly gives assistants responsibilities they normally would not have on Sundays.
Scheelhaase got one of those opportunities last year, calling the offense during the Rams’ preseason matchup with the Chargers. Mike LaFleur handled another exhibition game before eventually leaving Los Angeles to become the Cardinals’ head coach.
Now Scheelhaase gets another audition, only his profile has changed considerably.“
NFL Melbourne 2026 Half-Time Show and Entertainment: Lineup and More (manofmany)
“The NFL‘s long-anticipated Melbourne takeover kicks off this September with a three day weekend. Not only will fans be able to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Los Angeles Rams at the MCG, but there’s a huge stack of local and international performers set to take to the stage across the weekend.
Dubbed ‘Kickoff Festival’, the event’s entertainment lineup will span from Thursday September 10 to Saturday September 12, with acts like Peking Duk, Kita Alexander, Sneaky Sound System and more. But, true to NFL fashion, the half-time show has brought in the big guns, with the Jonas Brothers set to take the stage in front of the packed crowd and plenty more watching on via Netflix.“
Seahawks signing Terrion Arnold amid legal issues (seattletimes)
“Arnold was waived by the Detroit Lions in June after he was charged with eight felonies in connection to an alleged kidnapping and robbery incident in February in Tampa. He could face life in prison if convicted of the charges.
Arnold, who through his representatives has denied all allegations, initially had an arraignment set for Thursday in Tampa.
However, a spokesperson for the Hillsborough (Fla.) District Attorney told The Seattle Times the arraignment was held via Zoom earlier during a court hearing on Aug. 6. Arnold submitted a written plea of not guilty of all charges on July 31.
His next court date is a status hearing at 9 a.m. Oct. 5 in Tampa. That will be the day after the Seahawks host the Los Angeles Chargers.“
Comment of the Day:
Stetson Bennett is expected to get a look against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday
“I seem to recall that Bennett has always been prone to a pick or three in preseason, am I remembering correctly? But he also showed the mental strength to shake them off and lead the team back, although I’m sure McVay would rather not have that happen.
The little I’ve heard about Simpson describes good plays and bad. We’ll get to see for ourselves a bit on Saturday. The first step is for him to show that he belongs and IMO, should look better than his opponents and surrounding cast, who will be bottom of the roster type players, at best.“ -delusionalramfanslosteve
