Apple has reported double-digit growth for its fiscal fourth quarter due in part to record-high revenue from services including Apple Music.
All told, the iPhone developer pointed to $114.48 billion in revenue for the period – meaning the three months ended September 26th, 2026. That figure represents a roughly 12% year-over-year (YoY) improvement and reflects $82.90 billion (up 12.5% YoY) in revenue on the products side.
Therein, iPhone sales achieved 17.5% YoY growth en route to generating $57.58 billion, according to the report. Beyond this spike, the results don’t appear to contain any major surprises.
By region, Apple identified YoY revenue increases across the board, the exception being a modest quarterly dip in Japan.
And more interestingly, Apple Music, Apple TV, and other services kicked in the remainder of the overall revenue total with the initially mentioned record-high contribution of $31.57 billion (up 9.8% YoY).
Unfortunately for us, execs once again opted against breaking down services revenue by offering – let alone shedding light on the precise subscriber total associated with Music.
But during the corresponding earnings call, CEO John Ternus did emphasize “double-digit [services] growth in the majority of markets that we track,” with all-time records in the Americas and Europe on the quarter.
Additionally, CFO Kevan Parekh confirmed north of 1.5 billion total paid subscriptions for Apple as well as “a September quarter record in Music.”
“We set all-time revenue records in the majority of markets we track, including several emerging markets like Latin America and India,” Parekh elaborated of the broader services category’s showing. “We are optimistic about the long-term future of our services business.”
Despite this lack of specifics from the company itself, we aren’t without insights into Apple Music’s performance in the all-important U.S. market.
As broken down in detail by DMN Pro, Music is gaining ground in the ultra-competitive stateside streaming arena thanks in large part to Family bundles (for Music itself as well as Apple One).
Especially with Spotify ramping up its crackdown on Family sharing – as it pulls “the monetization lever,” the DSP is becoming quite serious about ensuring that each account’s users live in the same household – it’ll be worth continuing to closely track the totals.
Additionally, YouTube Music/Premium’s domestic momentum (and in excess of 150 million worldwide subscribers) is likewise worth keeping in mind.
Back to Apple’s latest earnings report, the business also acknowledged a quarterly slip in wearables, home, and accessories revenue to $8.3 billion (down 7.9% YoY). Parekh attributed the decline to “a difficult compare against the launch of the Watch SE 3 and the AirPods Pro 3 in the prior year.”
