An influencer who isn’t even in the gun space just gave one of the best concealed-carry takes I’ve heard in a long time.

He talked about why he finally decided to start carrying with one in the chamber, and the way he explained it was simple:

It’s like driving without a seatbelt.

Nobody drives around with their seatbelt unbuckled thinking they’ll click it real quick the second the crash starts.

But somehow, with guns, a lot of people convince themselves they’ll have all the time in the world to draw, rack the slide, get on target, and handle business when the fight is already on top of them.

That’s the reality people need to be honest about.

This isn’t about mocking anyone who carries without one in the chamber.

So carry how you want.

Chambered or unchambered, that decision is yours.

But don’t lie to yourself about the cost.

Train.

Build confidence through reps.
