Krishna Janmashtami 2026: Cm Yogi Inaugurates 'kanha Bhakti Stambh,' Grand Preparations In Vrindavan

Ahead of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Kanha Bhakti Stambh in Vrindavan, Mathura, marking the beginning of major festivities in the region. Meanwhile, preparations are in their final stages at the revered Banke Bihari Temple, where the premises have been beautifully decorated with colorful flowers and attractive lights. The High Power Management Committee has made extensive arrangements to facilitate smooth and convenient darshan for devotees expected to visit during the celebrations. Separate entry and exit routes have been created to ensure better crowd management and orderly movement. The temple’s annual Mangala Aarti, a highly significant ritual held only once a year, will take place at 1:55 a.m. on the nights of September 4 and 5. Attendance at the aarti will be restricted this year. On September 5 morning, devotees will also witness the traditional Dadhikanda (Nandotsav) celebration. Those unable to attend can watch the Mangala Aarti through live streaming from home.
