Reserve Cut Opens New Midtown East Steakhouse Bringing Luxury Kosher Dining To Park Avenue
Reserve Cut, one of New York City’s most celebrated kosher steakhouses, has officially opened its second location, bringing its signature fine dining experience to Midtown East. Known for redefining kosher cuisine with premium ingredients and elevated presentation, the restaurant expands beyond its iconic Financial District home to a new address at 109 East 56th Street near Park Avenue, strengthening its presence among Manhattan’s top luxury dining destinations.
Since opening its original restaurant in 2013, Reserve Cut has built a loyal following for its exceptional steaks, refined atmosphere, and uncompromising quality. Founded by Albert Allaham, whose family heritage of master butchers dates back more than 200 years to Damascus, the brand is deeply rooted in craftsmanship and tradition. This legacy continues through Prime Cut, the family’s butcher shop established in 2004 after relocating to the United States, which supplies the restaurant with its finest meats.
The newly opened Midtown Manhattan location preserves everything that made the original Reserve Cut a success while elevating the experience even further. Guests can expect an expanded menu of premium kosher steaks and sushi, prepared in two separate kitchens in full accordance with kosher regulations.\
Culinary Director Isaac Bernstein and Executive Chef Erick Bromberg oversee the kitchen operations, while an on-site rabbi ensures strict adherence to ingredient inspection and religious standards. Despite these requirements, the restaurant’s philosophy centers on flavor above all else. According to founder Albert Allaham, the dining experience feels no different from any world-class non-kosher restaurant, with taste and quality remaining the true foundation of its success.
The menu highlights the diversity and sophistication that Reserve Cut is known for. Signature offerings include the Tuna and Black Truffle sushi roll, Umami Olive-Fed Wagyu steaks, Ora King Salmon Mosaic, and house-made Duck Agnolotti.
Each dish reflects a balance of modern culinary techniques and premium sourcing. Complementing the food is an extensive wine list featuring more than fifty selections, with a strong emphasis on acclaimed Israeli wines, making it one of the most distinctive kosher wine programs in New York City.
Designed to accommodate both everyday dining and special occasions, the Midtown East restaurant features seating for 287 guests along with four private dining rooms ideal for corporate events, celebrations, and intimate gatherings. The upscale interior and spacious layout position Reserve Cut as a premier destination for business lunches, elegant dinners, and nightlife dining in the heart of Manhattan.
Reserve Cut’s new location operates Monday through Thursday from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from sundown until 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Reservations are available through Resy, and official images and menus are accessible online. With its second restaurant now open, Reserve Cut continues to solidify its reputation as one of the best steakhouses in Manhattan, proving that kosher fine dining can compete at the highest level of the city’s culinary scene.
