94% in boards. Delhi University. CAT cracked in the first attempt. MBA done. Jobs landing back to back. Life was so consistently smooth that he had quietly built an identity around it — Aman Nigam gets what Aman Nigam wants.
Then on 28th March 2024, a CEO called him into a meeting and dissolved his entire department. No notice period. Just — don't come tomorrow.
What followed was months of applications, final-round interviews, and rejection after rejection. Savings running out. An ego so inflated it had no framework to process any of it. The lowest point came one August evening — alone in his room, crying, holding the small Shivling he had carried from Kashi — and in a moment of pure desperation, biting it.
That breakdown became the beginning of Aman Talks.
He realised the identity he had worn for years was never given to him by anyone. He had built it himself from a streak of good fortune. And the moment life stopped feeding that streak, the entire structure collapsed.
Today, with over 100K followers and a full-time content career he built from scratch, he stands on a TEDx stage with a simple but powerful message: confidence built on a winning streak is fragile. The version of you that survives failure — that's the one worth becoming.
