How should we choose our careers in a world where artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we work?

In this talk, Mustafa Arda Uzun shares two ideas that changed the way he thinks about education, careers, and success. First, he explores the often-overlooked value of attending a strong school—not only because of the education it provides, but also because of the social and professional network it can create. He then introduces a four-level framework for understanding professional life: being an employee, working as a freelancer, owning a business, and becoming an investor.

As artificial intelligence continues to transform traditional jobs, Uzun argues that simply choosing a profession is no longer enough. Young people should also consider whether their chosen career can enable them to build systems, businesses, and long-term opportunities beyond their individual labor.

Drawing from his own experience of changing direction and rebuilding his career, he encourages young people to approach their education and career choices with a more strategic perspective. Mustafa Arda Uzun is a distinguished Trade Intelligence Specialist and the founder of Expinno Inc. (USA) and MARDAU Ltd. (Turkey). With a background in Actuarial Science from Marmara University, he has bridged the gap between complex data analysis and global commerce. A "Certified Internet Research Specialist," Mustafa specializes in a multi-layered approach to intelligence—ranging from market and competitor analysis to technical and executive intelligence.

Throughout his career, he has empowered businesses by organizing high-level training programs and developing strategic trade reports that transform raw data into actionable commercial insights. His expertise has led to successful collaborations with major institutions like QNB Bank and various Export Unions (IMMIB, UIB).
