You Gotta Try Claude Cowork W/ Notion!
| i need to gush for five seconds. buckle up, bc i love to yap. i've been using claude with the notion MCP connector and it's genuinely unhinged how well it works. i'm not copy-pasting ai outputs into notion. claude is directly fetching my pages, reading my existing structure, creating database entries, and updating content — all while we're just... talking. like friends! first screenshot: claude just built out my entire categories matrix — a 6x6 content system with 36 combinations. full write-ups, toggle dropdowns, notes callouts, the works. it even went back and found a placeholder i left that literally said "claude please fill this out" and just... did it. second screenshot: claude mid-action, fetching and writing to my notion pages in real time. page ID and everything. it's not suggesting. it's DOING. i've built out content calendars for 5 platforms, a full batching system, pinterest board descriptions for 18 boards, and a populated business planner — all through conversation. but the notion stuff is honestly just the beginning: - i've written custom skill files that permanently change how claude thinks and works for me. not prompts — actual instruction sets that load into its context so it already knows my brand voice, my SEO strategy, my content frameworks, and my formatting preferences before i say a single word. it's like onboarding an employee once and never having to explain anything again. - we're co-building an entire course — not "generate me a course outline." i mean we go back and forth, argue about structure, refine lesson flow, rewrite modules together. it's genuine creative collaboration with something that pushes back on my ideas when they're mid. doesn’t compliment me to death and give me false ego, he is genuinely iterative and helpful. - i describe a vibe in plain english and claude architects detailed midjourney prompts with camera angles, lighting specs, aspect ratios, style references — things i wouldn't even know to include. then we iterate until it's exactly right, even in inpainting. i’ve generated the best images I ever have since switching to claude from gpt. (those might sound like you could do with any ai but just trust me, it’s so different in cowork… and claude code is rebuilding my entire website with new custom pages and custom made html & css. it’s all animated and interactive and best part: it works!) but back to that last bit: - the BEST part: claude has direct access to my local file system. when it builds something — a document, a spreadsheet, a whole project folder — it saves it straight into my studio's directory on my actual computer. no downloading. no exporting. i look at my finder and the files are just there like a ghost coworker dropped them on my desk while i wasn't looking. okay, gushing/fangirl ing complete. also… i just got the notion custom agents release today and haven't even touched it yet, I know I’m gonna be overwhelmed, lol. someone tell me what to try first!? tl;dr: if you're sleeping on claude + notion connector... now is not the time for a nap. get in on this if you’re an ai fan, it’s too awesome to skip out on.
