Shedeur Sanders comes from football royalty as the son of NFL great Deion Sanders, and he is currently one of the most eligible bachelors in the league. The Cleveland Browns quarterback sat down for an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, and he opened up about the topic of having a woman in his life.

The interviewer, Aiyana Ishmael, asked him for some dating advice, and he responded by saying his Hall of Famer dad, Deion, was the one who should get interviewed regarding the topic. This soon led to the quarterback talking about his standards for bringing a woman into his world.

“I protect my family, and I protect who I love,” Shedeur Sanders said. “I’m extremely picky with who comes around.”

Shedeur Sanders also stated in the interview that he does not want a superfan to be his girlfriend, nor does he want somebody interested in an NFL WAG (wives and girlfriends) lifestyle, noting that he is second-generation, so he is more than familiar with the pressure and attention that comes with dating somebody like him.

“I got that question during the draft–how do I feel about WAGs,” he explained. “Some coaches and people didn’t understand what I was saying. But how can I expect them to understand what I’m saying? I’m second-generation, so I look at a lot of things differently. It’s a different type of pressure. It’s a different type of attention you’re gonna get when you’re dating me.”

As for what his ideal woman is, the youngest Sanders son admitted that he really does not know yet.

“If I knew that, I’d be cuffed right now,” he said.

Cleveland Insider Says Browns Want To Keep Shedeur Sanders

Meanwhile, there are a lot of questions surrounding Shedeur Sanders regarding his future with the Cleveland Browns, especially as current starter Deshaun Watson has been playing very well. The team currently has four quarterbacks on the roster, including Dillon Gabriel and rookie Taylen Green, and Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot is reporting that the team wants to keep them all.

Currently, three other teams have four quarterbacks on the roster, and they are the Falcons, Eagles, and Steelers. However, Cabot also wrote that this is partly dictated by “what happens in the coming days or weeks.”

The Browns have come out as one of the most surprising teams in the league, as they currently have a 3-1 record despite the team struggling in the preseason. They will take on the New York Jets next on Sunday.
