My apologizes for getting this out later than I had planned. Trump’s decision to send the U.S. military into Venezuela and take Nicolás Maduro into custody threw a bit of a wrench into my scheduling.

Top Pundits on Fox News
The PBS News Hour largely does not invite political pundits to appear on its program. The network does include activists, experts, union leaders and academics with varied political points of view. The network included an equal number of Republican and Democratic strategists throughout the year.
PBS did include experts from the following right of center think tanks.
Manhattan Institute
American Enterprise Institute
Tax Foundation
The Heritage Foundation
American Compass
Cato Institute
Defense Priorities
Some other notable organizations PBS invited experts from multiple times last year include:
ACLU
Atlantic Council
Brookings Institution
Carnegie Endowment for International Peace
Center for American Progress
Center for Strategic and International Studies
Various agencies within the United Nations including the World Food Program and UNICEF
Human Rights Watch
Kaiser Family Foundation
Peterson Institute for International Economics
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy (pro-Israel)*
Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington (pro-Palestine)*
*Both of these organizations are politically moderate. Experts from both think tanks often appeared together while they discussed and debated the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Dumbest Stories of the Year on Fox News
Sydney Sweeney’s ad campaigns
On the shows I covered last year, the network dedicated a total of 37 segments on the actress Sydney Sweeney. Most of the stories centered around her advertisement campaign with American Eagle and the double entendre of the phrase ‘good jeans,” or “good genes.”
Some folks on social media thought the ad was promoting white supremacy. Fox News acted as if every American left of center was outraged by the advertisement.
The network also placed excessive coverage on a collaboration the Sweeney had with company called Dr. Squatch. The company featured a limited edition soap that allegedly contained used bath water from the actress.
The runner-up for the dumbest story of the year:
Cracker Barrel changed its logo
The network included 11 full length segments about the controversy.
Some Honorable Mentions from Jesse Watters Primetime
At the end of his program Watters includes short segments about his life. Some of the more memorable segments included:
Watters almost lost his credit card
Watters loves the show Love Island
Don’t drink from straws - a rule for men
You can also drop people from your life (a two part series)
Everyone has an agenda!
Take a bite out of life!
Try putting your legs up a wall
Don’t get drunk at office Christmas parties
Power wash your home
