Brown Harris Stevens Adds Corcoran Agent Debbie Baum

Veteran real estate agent Debbie Baum is making the move to Brown Harris Stevens from Corcoran, according to an announcement on Wednesday. 

Baum has more than 23 years of experience serving residential real estate clients in Manhattan. Earlier on in her professional career, Baum spent over 20 years in the fashion industry holding executive roles at Rena Lange (USA), Nicole Farhi, Donna Karan New York and Perry Ellis before serving as a principal in her own consulting business. 

Brown Harris Stevens CEO Bess Freedman said she and her firm are excited to welcome Baum to the company.

“Debbie’s commitment to client service and depth of experience make her a strong addition to Brown Harris Stevens,” Freedman said in a statement. “Her thoughtful approach and understanding of the Manhattan market align well with the values we prioritize across the firm.”

At Corcoran, Baum ran a three-agent team known as the Debbie Baum Team. In 2024, the team closed 12 transaction sides representing $27.28 million in sales volume, according to RealTrends Verified data. This earned her team the No. 193 rank among small teams in Manhattan for sales volume in the 2025 RealTrends Verified City Rankings. However, Baum told HousingWire she is joining Brown Harris Stevens with just her assistant Isabel Munoz.

Baum, who is also licensed in Palm Beach, Fla., will be based out of Brown Harris Stevens’ East Side office.
