United Properties starts on active adult community
United Properties announced the start of construction on Amira Corcoran, a new active adult community in Corcoran, Minnesota, according to a news release.
The four-story community expands the Amira portfolio to meet growing demand for senior living, the release states.
“Amira Corcoran reflects our long-term commitment to creating high-quality communities that respond to the evolving needs of older adults,” said Dave Young, vice president, senior living development, United Properties. “This project brings thoughtfully designed homes and meaningful amenities to a growing part of the Twin Cities, while reinforcing our focus on places that foster connection, independence and a strong sense of community.”
Amira Corcoran offers studio through three-bedroom apartment homes. The building features diverse amenities including a club room, fitness and yoga studios, a golf simulator, and an outdoor patio with a pool and hot tub.
Texas community continues on expansion project
BeeHive Homes of Crownridge near San Antonio is nearing the end of construction on an expansion project that will double the community’s size, according to the project’s website.
The new assisted living center will bring the total of available beds to 24 from 16. Work started on the expansion project in 2025. The new project will include private rooms, shared living and dining areas, an open kitchen, activity spaces and wide hallways with a barrier-free design according to the community’s website.
Services including assisted living, memory care and short-term respite care are available at the community.

Construction completed on Florida community
NEI General Contracting announced the completion of construction at the Mission Grove at Stoneybrook in Winter Garden, Florida, in partnership with the Leo Brown Group, according to a news release.
The community includes a mix of independent living, assisted living apartments and memory care, along with a mix of shared amenities. Amenities include a resort-style pool, pickleball courts, fireside lounges and a cafe.
In February, the Leo Brown Group announced a $50 million equity fund to fuel future development, with the Indiana-based real estate company having built 3,900 senior living units.
The company’s management segment, Traditions Management, operates 24 communities. In 2026, the Leo Brown Group has 600 units under construction spanning multiple projects in Indiana, Florida and Ohio.
