A Relitive Wants To Aquire Debt And Not Pay It Back But I Am Afraid I Will Inherit It. Is It True And What Can I Do?

So I have been talking with my Grandfather (and his wife who adopted me as a child) and he is trying to tell me something he plans, I try to convince him back that this is a bad idea and will come back to hurt me in the future. Basically he has been in Facebook groups and using Gemini A.I. as a yes-man to "substantiate and research" the claims that if he uses the Equity of a yet to be developed field property to live of of and aquire debt then I inherit it by "Inheritance laws" the debt is void. I tried to tell him that from my own research that only some types of taxes are not taken like as if the property was sold again. But he doesn't want to hear it and worst of the example he was using to describe the process whas "$95,000." Everyone potentially involved and the all property is in Yuba county CA. I am currently financially Ok but all this would make it not so

Location: California

A. Are any of his claims about such rules true

B. How can I protect myself if it is already happening or he goes through with it?
