Adoptive Mother Wants Access To Children After No Contact

Location: California

Problem: I’m no-contact with my mother and concerned her escalating boundary violations/interference may continue or extend to my young children.

Solution sought: CA restraining/no-contact order covering me and preventing access/contact with my children.

Supporting conduct:

* Longstanding pattern of harassment, manipulation, intimidation, and boundary violations.

* Uses relatives/third parties to bypass no-contact boundaries.

* Contacted my husband late at night seeking access to my children without me; he ultimately blocked her.

* Has explicitly said she would disregard our parental medical decisions if she had custody/access.

* My parents have never been permitted unsupervised access because of longstanding safety concerns.

* Has disclosed private/humiliating information about me to others.

* Historically escalates interference when I establish distance/boundaries.

* Recently alluded to accessing legal avenues to obtain access to my children.

* I have texts/witnesses documenting portions of this behavior.

Question: Is this enough in California to pursue a DVRO or another order preventing contact/interference with me and my children?

I watched her harass and coerce my biological mother before and during my adoption and I can’t even describe how effed this move of hers was to me. Talk about inciting PTSD. Ugh. I want her out of my life.
