Aunt Sending Me Threats After Finding Out Truth About Insurance Policy (need Advice Asap)

Sorry if my questions are dumb I’m in my early 20s and never have been in this situation before.. I have no money for legal help this was my last option

LEGAL QUESTIONS :( back story below questions )

1. If aunt did “pay” on the policy , am I supposed to just not do the claim? (My dad didn’t have a will. No spouse and no other kids )
2. Is it true that she can have me “arrested ” ? (she handed all this information over to me and was upset once I found out the truth )

3 ) Is a succession necessary being I am the closet to kin and he has no will?

My dad passed away in January . My dad had a policy that my grandma opened when she was alive . (I never knew about it )

My grandma was beneficiary, she’s passed. My mom(dad’s wife passed) I am his only child. I cremated my dad from my own dime. He used to have a life insurance policy but cancelled it bc of hardship. Which he still had a policy that we just never knew still existed bc my aunt kept it a secret.

She has reached out to me after all this time saying that she needs to do a claim and she doesn’t have the paperwork that’s required .

I told her I didn’t feel comfortable doing whatever and I would speak to them directly . I found out that she was only

Point of contact and that I am the one that is supposed to handle the claim. I am a student and I work full time .

She has been blowing my phone up after I broke the news to her. I told her I will just follow their directions instead of hers. She is now threatening to take legal actions against me if I don’t speak to her before this Friday . ( she claim that she opened a policy on my dad herself , but the policy is in my grandma name still ) she also once said she paid on one of the before. She also send a text saying I’ll be “sorry” . I don’t appreciate her blowing up my phone. I am all for what’s right despite the way she handled things but this is too much.

Being that I thought she actually could’ve paid on the policy before I was willing to give her money . My issue was that it’s crazy she found out he died and then suddenly “found” the policy . All because she wants the money. I believe in doing what’s right but I cannot work in peace or sleep in bc she won’t stop calling and texting .
