Bought A Stolen Motorcycle And They Won’t Refund Me

Location: Georgia, USA

Ok so to start off, I bought a “brand new” motorcycle in February for my 18th birthday. I purchased it from a used car dealership, and they had a few other bikes there. In hindsight I should have known it was sketchy when they never asked for my license or gave me temp plates. I decided to register it yesterday (bit late I know????) but I ran into many issues. For starters, progressive, geico, and State Farm couldn’t verify the vin number I provided. I thought nothing of it. Eventually I ended up putting the make and model so I could get coverage. I called my local police department to have them inspect the motorcycle as I didn’t have a title, just the MSO (manufacturer statement of origin) and bill of sale. My local police department ran the VIN and 0 history came back on the bike. I thought it could be that it was brand new, but I was directed to GSP to have them run the VIN, because they have more resources than county PD. The VIN finally came back, and Georgia State Patrol informed me that the bike was stolen out of Hernando county Florida. I know mistakes like these are uncommon, however possible. So I reverified the VIN with the officer and he confirmed all numbers and letters were correct and in chronological order. The MSO stated it was purchased in 2023, the manufacturer confirmed the purchase from the factory by the dealer. However the NCIC reported bike was stolen in 2023. The dealer is currently refusing a refund, because they were unable to verify that it was stolen and impounded after my report. I sent them proof; the case number, video evidence of the bike getting towed and the number to the officer that was on scene. It’s been 24 hours since the impounding and my conversation with the dealer. What should I do now?
