Brother Ran From Cops And Doesn’t Know What To Do Next. Advice Needed.

Location: Ohio

My brother (20m) was riding a street legal dirt bike through a small town going over 100 in a 45. He passed a cop that had someone else pulled over. When he passed by he saw the police officer run back to his patrol car presumably to pull my brother over. Seeing this, my brother started going faster to outrun the police. When he eventually did see the lights of the cop car behind him, they were very far away and not near him at all. He pulled into a friend’s house and stashed the bike in a garage. The police offer went up and down the road for a while looking for him. This happened at 5pm. At around 9pm the same officer showed up to my brother’s house and looked in all the windows and knocked on the door. My brother was still at the friend’s house, so he wasn’t there to talk to the officer. The officer didn’t leave anything but on his ring camera he could see that he had a pen and paper in his hand. My brother returned to his house in the middle of the night and hasn’t heard anything since.

My questions are: should he call the police station and ask why they were at his house?

Should he try to turn himself in?

Should he just lay low and hope nothing comes from this?

Could not contacting the police station make things worse for this situation?

I have searched the county warrant database and as of right now, there are no active warrants for his arrest.

My brother is (usually) a law-abiding citizen, and is a hardworking guy with no criminal record. I would hate for him to go about this the wrong way and ruin his life with catching a felony charge.

Any advice is appreciated.
