Called Police On Husband When He Got Physical. I Left, He Is Still At The Apartment And Moving All My Belongings Outside Into The Rain. What Do I Do?

Location: PA

Obviously I will be contacting an attorney on Monday, but in the meantime, I need some advice. I will try to keep this as short and relevant as possible.

My husband has been escalating his abusive behavior and became physical tonight. I called the police and took our kids (2 y/o and 6months) out of the house because I did not think we were safe with him.

I am mostly a SAHM and work 1 day a week.

He has already drained our joint bank account so I have no access to any of our money. Rent for March has not been paid yet, he communicated to our landlord that it would be late this month.

He said that he is moving all of my things outside. It is raining. They will get ruined.

Furthermore, I want to keep the apartment. I can afford it if I am working full time and I have family help until I get on my feet. It’s only 3 miles from my mom and 4 miles from my job. I am friends with the landlord and think if I explain the situation she would rather rent to me. (Not legally relevant but he doesn’t even actually want this apartment. He only wants to keep me from having it. He recently was threatening me by saying that he already had a new place to live lined up and when I said, “good because if we separate, I want to stay here,” he completely changed his tune and decided that he would keep the apartment and force me to leave)

We are currently in a month to month lease since our last lease expired.

What can I do if he moves all my belongings outside? What if my things are destroyed in the rain? What is the likelihood of me being able to keep the apartment and him being forced to move? What should I do here.
