Can A Job Fire Me Over Sh Scars?
Not 100% sure if this is the best subreddit. I’m a 16M and have sh scars on both left and right forearms and my job (food runner/ busser in a fancy bar) just got new uniforms for the summer and I have to wear a short sleeve shirt and my manager made a comment about them. Since then I’ve become very better in the head and haven’t cut for over two years and I’m in a great mental state. Can they make me cover them up or fire me for them? It is a pretty fancy and strict place and a private company (which I know you lose a good chunk of rights away when you get the job) Also if this is important they are very very strict about absolute 0 visible tattoos.
Also super duper random but rich and fancy old people are really just kinda dicks and douches and more than one have commented about my scars (which I’m not afraid to show at all) in fairly mean ways and it didn’t really bother me but my manager obviously overheard and this place is all about making the customers all happy and feel good and stuff…
