Can I Take Action Over A Serious Injury?

I (female) like to play handball for fun nothing serious just with some friends they’re is a member that often plays with us who is misogynistic towards me often reacting in a hostile ways shoving, yelling, and kicking he also reacts in a petty manner not passing to me ignoring my call outs etc.
The last time I played with them he seriously injured me I dove for a ball and he slammed me against the floor bashing the back of my head against the floor then pushed his hand into my glasses shattering them into my eye I didn’t realize what had happened yet as I often tumble while playing I then realized I was bleeding bad I rushed to a near restroom having a golf ball sized injury on my forehead/eyebrow and immediately went to the emergency room I had gotten my eye flushed for glass and a Ct scan I had gotten incredibly lucky not to permanently lose eyesight I had come out with 2 concussions and partial blindness I was out for 3 weeks and nothing came of it I now have been diagnosed with ptsd concussion symptoms and still face constant headaches from this and many more doctors visits I’m not sure what I could do over this and was wondering if I could have taken legal action
