Can Parents Kick Out An 18 Year Old That Is Still Attending High School?

Location: North Carolina

My other throwaway got banned for explaining what happened so I won’t be doing that this time.

Like the title says, I am freshly 18F as of last month but I’ve been kicked out of the house. I still go to high school, I have a job, but no way to cash my checks as I was in the process of getting a card but now it will be delivered to a place I no longer live, and ultimately have no where to go. My coworker, bless her heart, offered for me to stay at her place for a little while but she is pregnant and already has a child with her but she struggles with money herself so I would feel terrible being a burden on her. I had to get police involved to even get my checks from out of the house as she was refusing to give them to me. Which, the cop barely helped me i basically did everything myself while he stood behind me asking me what I even expected him to do about it.I literally got kicked out over nothing to but she already packed my stuff in trash bags and left them outside by the time I got back from school.

Also thank you to those that answered on my other post. I tried to screenshot what I could and save it.

Edit: Follow up question based on advice people gave me before. Some people told me to freeze my credit in case my mom opens anything fraudulent in my name. Since she has my physical social is there a way to get it changed if I thought something were possibly going to happen in the future?
