Cease Communication

I have a therapist whom I am trying to go no contact with. They are highly manipulative and try to hoover me back so they can start charging me. They also charge per text message. And if I don’t reach out, they will reach out “checking in,” pretending to care. Once I reply back, the charge starts.

I have already fired them by saying I no longer need their services and thanking them for their help. They were very upset and told me I would be in shambles without them, and it’s through their efforts that I have been remotely successful. They are breaking me down instead of building me up.

And they tell me whom I am and am not to talk to. Very calculating. This is all to secure their pay. I am literally their only client.

After firing them, they manipulated me by reducing their rate to half off for returning customers. I still said no thanks. Then they kept bombarding me with emails “checking in” and said I am being “rude” and I could just say hello and let them know how I am doing.

By the way, I was also laid off from my job, upon following this person’s advice. It is not rooted in reality. And I honestly feel they is derailing me in life. They are still charging me crazy money even though I am unemployed.

This person is going to be a leech. I cannot afford them. And their advice is mostly wrong.

I was told to get a cease and desist letter, but that seems extreme. Why can’t I just block the person and ghost them?
