Contesting A Will?

Card image cap

Location: Washington State I’m dealing with a really difficult family situation my grandma passed a month ago (natural causes, she was 85 and not in good health). 18 months ago, after a 30 year absence, my estranged aunt returned and completely took over care of my grandma, isolated her from me and my siblings who had previously been caring for her, and we just learned through getting a copy of her Will that she had everything in my grandmas will changed to make her the sole beneficiary and she did this 3 days before my grandmas death. There are a million other red flags and awful things this woman did but we just found this out about the Will and I don’t know how to handle this. We’re consulting a probate attorney but my aunt is notoriously litigious and we’re worried about the insanity she’ll put us through if we contest it. But the Will changing right before her death just seems like such a clear abuse of the situation. My grandma hadn’t been in good health for years and her signature on the Will is completely illegible and I just don’t see how it could possibly be legal for her to have done this?!
