Could I Be Fucked Over If I Quit?

So I have this clause in my employment agreement that falls under "Protection of Corporate interests", and im just wondering if this is essentially gonna screw me over 12 ways by quitting.

It reads: 6.04 Non-Solicitation - The Employee agrees that during the term of employment, anc for a period of six (6) months after the termination of employment, for any reason including termination by the Company or voluntary resignation, the Employee wil not: (a) Solicit or attempt to solicit the business of any client of the Company or any of its affiliates with whom the Employee had Direct Contact within the last twelve (12) months of the Employee's employment as a result of the Employee's position with the Company, either for the Employee's own benefit or for the benefit of any third party, where such solicitation is for purposes which might reasonably be considered competitive or detrimental to the leaitimate business interests of the Company; or (b) Solicit, induce or attempt to induce any employee of the Company with whom the Employee had Direct Contact as a result of the Employee's position with the Company, to quit such employment or to compete with the Company. 'Direct Contact" means direct communications (whether in person or through any other means) for purposes of doing business on behalf of the Company or any o ts affiliates, but only if such communications are more than trivial in nature, and in any case excluding bulk or mass marketing communications directed to multiple clients- or employees.
