Currently Getting Investigated By Cps For A Report That Was Factually Untrue. Should I Get A Lawyer?

So I had a caseworker show up to my door about two days ago. They questioned me about the Care that I’m giving to my 16 year old son i adopted out of foster care, and about the Care I am receiving while I’m pregnant. I am currently in my first trimester about 7 1/2 weeks along.

The report claims that I essentially have been removed from his life by his bio family because of “Abuse, my bipolar disorder, and excessive drinking and drug use (I have never done drugs). And the report also claims that I have a restraining order against my husband and I’m actively violating it (I have never had a restraining order against him). It also claims that my husband is in active legal investigation with the US military and violating some kind of orders (he’s army and never been in trouble). I was also questioned on whether I’ve ever been charged with domestic violence, I have not. I was questioned for fighting off my ex-husband many years ago after he had sexually assisted me, but ultimately police charged him with the sexual assault. And I was also asked a lot by the social workers about if I am receiving prenatal Care, if I am doing drugs while I’m pregnant, asking me about my birth plan, ect. And I was very confused when this happened because I have never once done anything that they were asking me about. And I answered all of their questions truthfully.

And I also had a sheriff show up to my house and investigate me for animal cruelty. They asked if my dogs were being fed and if they were kennelled often. I have a bull dog puppy that I only kennel for a short period of time, but my senior dog just roam around freely in the house. And my animals are very clearly well trained and well cared for, I groom them frequently and they’re albeit a little well fed and I’m trying to have my senior dog loose weight.

Even my 16 year old was confused because he still lives at home with us, and he does not have contact with his biological family. My husband wasn’t home when they questioned us. But they also went and they looked around all areas of my home. But I also know that they are going to continue to investigate us.

I do have a stalker (who currently works with my husband) who is prior law-enforcement, and has used law-enforcement tools to stalk me and my husband. and this is all stuff that he has been saying about me so I have some reason to believe that the report was made by him. i’ve already spoken to police (both military and civilian) about the stalking in the past, but I’m not sure if it is time to get a lawyer. Any and all advice would be really helpful.
