Daughter Bought A Used Vehicle And It's Been A Disaster Since She Drove It Off The Lot.

So she paid $9000. for a nice Chevy Traverse, which she test drove and researched. She also purchased a 3 month warranty on the engine and transmission. Within a few days of driving it, she noticed a problem, and we took it back to the car lot because it was getting worse, and a mechanic friend told us it was the transmission.

So we take it to the seller who agrees it's the transmission but tells us she has to drive it 1000 miles and have it at least 30 days for the warranty to kick in. A few days later, a weird sound developed that became louder and louder. And did I mention that every time she stopped for gas, the car would not start for the next 15 to 20 minutes ? never have found out what's wrong with th, but the noise reached a fever pitch on our way back from a nearby city one night, and we pulled over in complete dismay. This was now three weeks in So we take the car back to the car lot the next day and they keep it for 3 weeks to fix a bad Welding job on the muffler harness. We picked her car up the night before.We are due to drive out of town for Thanksgiving. 50 Miles out of town, the car starts making the same sound again, which we know to be the muffler harness.But then, an hour away from her grandfather's house , the transmission completely died. Thank God for AAA.We got towed the next town where the car was looked at and we are told that the bolts had come loose from the muffler harness, and the transmission would need to be replaced to the hefty tune of $8000. The warranty cover 2000 that\nCan at this point she's only had the car about six weeks. Of course, at that point, we had met the 30-day 1000 mile requirement. But we had to return back to Oklahoma, and the only way we could do that was to rent a car and come back without her car , which is still sitting in georgia , is now accumulating fees daily. We have talked to a lawyer who then referred us to a different lawyer who then referred to a different lawyer.

Are we SOL? My daughter had just returned from Korea and had saved her money to buy a car and im determined to get her some kind of justice. What do we need to do ?
