Dv Incident At Apartment

Location: NY. So recently my child’s father whom I have a restraining order on showed up to my apartment while I wasn’t there and broke a few of my personal belongings. I called the police & he was arrested & is currently in jail. I had a note on my door yesterday from management stating,
“It is imperative that you visit the office on Monday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This meeting is regarding the recent police visit and the concerns associated with that incident.
I will also be conducting an inspection on Monday in your unit at 12:00 p.m. to conduct an inspection of your unit. Please ensure that the unit is accessible at that time.
I will need you to give me the detailed report of what happened on the 8*h and at what time, what you observed, who was involved, what the police did, and what happened afterwards, I can turn it into a professional incident statement. You can send me the details in rough notes; they don't need to be polished.”

Now I know giving an advanced notice for an inspection is ok. But is it really their business on my personal matter? I did the correct thing by calling the cops. Their property was not damaged. It has nothing to do with them, just me.
