Employee From A Financial Institution Used Protected Client Info To Stalk Them For Over A Year - Remained Employed

Reposting because the original got removed because I "didn't ask a legal question".

Location: Texas

Hello, I am posting on behalf of an acquaintance.

This individual used services from a local financial institution a couple of years ago. Shortly after their business concluded, she started getting stalked by the employee that she worked with. This went on for over a year.

She did report this individual to the company shortly into the stalking. This individual remained employed, and according to her, has still not been terminated (because he still stalks her and “confides” in her via text and voicemail).

I don’t want to go into the depth of the trauma, but it deteriorated her mental wellbeing, and jeopardized her marriage and livelihood.

According to her, during a restraining order hearing in front of a judge, there were others from his company present.

This employee would have had no way of contacting her, or even knowing who she was outside of their official interactions for professional matters.

What LEGAL course of action is she able to take against the company for how they handled her information, and their continued shelter of that employee who had caused and continues to cause her over a year of emotional trauma?

And what kind of LAWYER should she look for if she has any LEGAL course of actions she can take?
